AbsorGel calcium chloride-based desiccants offer effective protection against packaging damage, mold, corrosion, condensation, oxidation, unpleasant odors, and other moisture-related issues. Desiccants are installed either vertically, by hooking them to the loops under the container roof, or horizontally, laid over the cargo or inside the packaging. Where possible, we recommend horizontal installation as it offers up to 20% better performance. Learn more HERE.
AbsorGel’s highly effective active agent is calcium chloride with a 94% purity level. The absorbed moisture is bound into a gel by modified potato starch. There are no free liquids and no risk of leakage. Effective temperature range: -20°C to +70°C. Active lifespan: at least three months.
Absorption capacity is >300% of the desiccant’s own weight under normal conditions (>500% in testing chambers), i.e., 3 liters of water per 1 kg of AbsorGel (about ten times more than silica gel or bentonite clay). These desiccants stand out from alternatives due to their 100% stable and predictable performance, which is achieved through a unique DDM (Dual Dose Mixing) technology.
DDM is a fully automated production system developed by Absortech, which doses calcium chloride (the active absorbent) and modified starch (the binding agent that turns salt solution into gel) separately into each AbsorGel pouch in precise proportions. Unlike competing products where ingredients are pre-mixed in bulk, AbsorGel components are combined only within each unit, ensuring that every desiccant meets exact technical specifications.
From our Baltic warehouse, we offer three of the most in-demand AbsorGel desiccants:

1.0 kg AbsorGel Hanging
125 g AbsorGel Pouch
The typical delivery time from our Baltic distribution center is 2–3 working days.
For made-to-order shipments from Absortech’s factory in Sweden, the average delivery time is about one week. Please send inquiries and orders to the email address sensei@sensei.eu
For defense, aerospace, and electronics industry applications, we offer TRUGUARD non-toxic silica gel and activated bentonite clay-based desiccants, SIL-PACK and CLAY PACK, that comply with DIN 55473 and MIL-D-3464 standards. SIL-PACK can be packaged in different sizes from 1g to 500 grams. CLAY PACK can be made in various sizes of bags ranging from 1/6 units (5,5g) to 32 units (1056 grams) bags.
From our Baltic warehouse, we offer the most in-demand CLAY PACK desiccants:
16U (16 units, or 528 grams) protects up to 374.5 liters of package volume per piece;
32U (32 units, or 1056 grams) protects up to 749 liters of package volume per piece.
The typical delivery time from our Baltic distribution center is 2–3 working days.

DRYCAN high-performance desiccant canisters protects tablets, capsules, powders, and diagnostic devices by actively adsorbing humidity inside bottles, vials, and containers. Available in various sizes and customizable sorbent blends (silica gel); manufactured in a clean room in accordance with pharmaceutical industry standards; food-contact safe and made with non-toxic materials.
TRUGUARD Activated Alumina is a highly porous, granular desiccant derived from aluminum oxide (chemical formula Al₂O₃.nH₂O). It is widely used across industries for critical applications such as gas and air drying, natural gas dehydration, compressed air systems, and liquid-phase drying. TRUGUARD Activated Alumina offers high chemical purity, and it is resistant to fragmentation and crumbling. In addition to its high adsorption capacity, activated alumina is non-toxic, chemically stable, and approved for use in food and pharmaceutical environments. It is effective in high humidity conditions, requires less energy for regeneration, and can be used in unheated (PSA - Pressure Swing Adsorption) air dryers. Shipped in 125-150 kg barrels or 25 kg hermetic packages.
TRUGUARD Molecular Sieve is a high-performance desiccant, capable of operating efficiently even at extremely low humidity levels. It adsorbs moisture rapidly and effectively, making it ideal for protecting highly sensitive products. In critical applications such as diagnostic reagents and medical devices, molecular sieves help ensure that products remain potent, safe, and effective - from the moment they are manufactured until the point of use. TRUGUARD Molecular Sieve desiccant packets are made from high-quality synthetic zeolites, without any chemical additives, packaged in tear- and dust-resistant nonwoven material for reliable protection in demanding conditions. Complies with DIN 55473 and MIL-D-3464E standards. Molecular sieves are available in various sizes and pore types, including 3A and 4A, to meet specific technical requirements, and they selectively adsorb only molecules of certain sizes (e.g., water, methanol, CO₂), leaving larger molecules out, like a sieve.
As a narrowly specialized moisture protection expert, we deliver the most suitable, reliable and cost-effective solutions for all desiccant applications. For consultation, please send inquiries to the email address sensei@sensei.eu
